Technical Process
Harrigan's current photographs are archival ink jet prints that were captured with a digital
single-lens-reflex camera. Her earlier photographs were captured on film that was scanned
into digital format with a high-resolution negative scanner. Harrigan then personally makes
the necessary digital enhancements with respect to the intrinsic qualities of traditional photography.
Each print is matted with archival grade Crescent RagMat Cotton matboard to meet archival
standards while reducing impact on our earth. Each mat is hand-cut and signed by the artist.
